Maintaining client, employee and user privacy is central to Conversant Group’s mission, our ethical duties and our commitment to excellence. This notice explains our information practices.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) – such as names, address, social security number, driver’s license number, account number, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, etc. – will be confidential and secured at all times.  Personal health information (PHI), also referred to as protected health information – such as medical history, test and laboratory results, insurance information and other data that a healthcare professional or insurance carrier – shall be  protected and encrypted if required.

Employee and Client related PII and PHI may be used by third parties such as insurance carriers, consultants, counsel, and others providing operational services to the company.  Conversant Group will not, under any circumstances, provide such information to any third party for its own commercial or other use. We will make all reasonable efforts to insure third parties protect this data.  However, for obvious reasons we cannot guarantee the practices of these parties are maintained and followed.

Conversant Group cannot guarantee the privacy of personal information you transmit over the web or that may be collected in transit by third parties, including vendors who provide services to you.

Conversant Group reserves the right to disclose Personally Identifiable Information and or Personal Health Information in response to legal process or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, for example, in response to a court order, subpoena or a law enforcement agency’s request.

Personal Information which users in the European Union provide to us may be transferred to other countries (including the United States), the data protection laws of which may differ from those of the European Union, and you expressly agree to such transfer.

How Internet Data is Used

We use Google Analytics to automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit our site – such as the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using, and the domain name of your Internet service provider (eg, America Online, Comcast), your Geo targeted location, and other non-personally identifiable information.

Conversant Group and its web host may use non-personally identifiable information to analyze site usage (such as information on the pages visited by our users), which allows us to improve the design and content of our site.

Collection of Information by Third-Party Sites & Sponsors

Conversant Group cannot guarantee the privacy of personal information you transmit over the web or that may be collected in transit by third parties, including vendors who provide services to you.

Our site may contain links to other sites whose information practices may be different than ours. Visitors should consult the other sites’ privacy notices as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.

Conversant Group may post information about programs and events that are sponsored by or co-sponsored by other companies or organizations. Should you choose to register electronically or attend any of these events, Conversant Group will have no control over the third-party sponsors’ use of this information.

Cookies We Use

  • _ga – 2 years -Used to distinguish users.
  • _gid – 24 hours -Used to distinguish users.
  • _gat – 1 minute – Used to throttle request rate. If Google Analytics is deployed via Google Tag Manager, this cookie will be named _dc_gtm_<property-id>.
  • AMP_TOKEN – 30 seconds to 1 year – Contains a token that can be used to retrieve a Client ID from AMP Client ID service. Other possible values indicate opt-out, inflight request or an error retrieving a Client ID from AMP Client ID service.
  • _gac_<property-id> – 90 days – Contains campaign related information for the user. If you have linked your Google Analytics and AdWords accounts, AdWords website conversion tags will read this cookie unless you opt-out.
