Two weeks ago, our President and CEO, John Anthony Smith, had the opportunity to advocate for one of our partners, DarkTrace, at their Partner Summit event.
The event was held in New York, New York, and is designed to be a convergence point for existing and potential partners. Smith led his advocacy for the company by introducing the relationship between him and Edward (Teddy) Nass, Conversant Group’s primary DarkTrace contact. The reason Smith so heavily emphasized the relationship is because that is one of the precepts that comprise Conversant Group’s core business model. We believe that aside from experience and knowledge, strong partnerships are the most important part of a successful business. We know that those partnerships stem from good relationships, which is why we place such a heavy emphasis on people.
Smith said he enjoyed the event, and that it was a lot of fun. We are always thankful for the opportunity to be involved with partners on a personal level, especially when they choose to include us in a large-scale event like the DarkTrace Partner Summit. It is important to maintain partnerships that are deeper than an occasional follow-up email. Real partnerships are about being intentional with face to face interactions and proving how much they mean to you by showing up and getting involved.
