Managed Services Engineer

Serving as a Managed Services Engineer, you will provide ongoing support and service to our growing list of clients.  You will work directly with clients to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support IT infrastructure systems and services.  You will be involved in developing and expanding on our service delivery standards and best practices.  You will work with other members of our engineering, sales, and project management teams to ensure ongoing success of Infrastructure and Security service delivery goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and configuration of messaging and collaboration technologies (Microsoft Exchange, O365, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Installation and configuration of server technologies (Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, etc.).
  • Installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 7/10).
  • Engage in creating and modifying client-facing Statements of Work, Bill of Materials, and labor estimates for service delivery engagements.
  • Drafting and solidifying client documentation, including network diagrams, assessment documentation, device configurations, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on design, documentation, and implementation for solutions provided by Conversant Group.
  • Participate in Conversant projects as necessary.
  • Other duties as required.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associate degree in Information Technology, Business, Operations, or relevant field experience strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years installing and supporting Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
  • 3+ years installing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
  • 3+ years installing and supporting Microsoft Windows workstation operating systems.
  • Previous experience with perimeter security firewalls and/or storage area networks is a plus!
  • Previous experience on a Managed Services team is a plus!
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Managed Services Network Engineer

Serving as a Managed Services Network Engineer, you will provide ongoing support and service to our growing list of clients.  You will work directly with clients to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network and perimeter security devices.  You will be involved in developing and expanding on our service delivery standards and best practices.  You will work with other members of our engineering, sales, and project management teams to ensure ongoing success of Infrastructure and Security service delivery goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in support, maintenance, and improvements of network infrastructure and perimeter security solutions, primarily within the data center.
  • Engage in creating and modifying client-facing Statements of Work, Bill of Materials, and labor estimates for service delivery engagements.
  • Installation and configuration of perimeter security technologies (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, SonicWall, etc.).
  • Installation and configuration of routing, switching, and wireless technologies (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, etc.).

Pre-Sales Engineer
The Principal Designer & Architect position is an opportunity to combine your understanding of advanced technologies with your ability to develop client partner relationships. In this role, you will provide product driven, system solutions at the enterprise level. This is an onsite role at our corporate location where you will be assigned to work within our business consulting group. Your day to day responsibilities will include responding to customer requests for proposals, working with our sales team to develop designs and bills of materials for cost-effective solutions, creating configuration drawings/designs, and regularly communicating with the engineering teams and PMO. The pre-sales engineer must be well-versed in the selling company’s portfolio of products and services and keep up with new technologies entering the market: the most important of those products being Cisco and HPe.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of pre-sales infrastructure engineering experience in large volume environments.
  • Hands-on experience includes administrating, designing, implementing and supporting responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring servers, storage and networking solutions while following OEM guidelines for best practices in deployment.
  • Understanding of virtualization, VDI, SDN, and Cloud Architectures.
  • Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to capture raw requirements and convert them into specifications as part of a configuration.
  • Moderate knowledge of networking, to ensure designed solutions will integrate correctly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with our business consulting team to proactively identify clients’ business needs and recommend innovative strategies to ensure achievement of their technology goals.
  • Coordinates closely with business consultants, business consultants’ administrative support, and engineering resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the business consultants, technical relationship managers, and account managers.
  • Ability to articulate product benefits to solve client’s technology challenges.
    • A level of charisma is required.
  • Provide analysis and development of integrated infrastructure initiatives.
  • Be an expert in Enterprise deal registration and pricing programs, product portfolio and technology, configuration tools and external resources in order to effectively perform the job duties.  As an example, knowledge of CCW and NetFormX is preferred.
  • Expert knowledge within the following areas and configuration tools to create a complete bill of materials and quotes as required
    • Networking – Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet

    • Storage – Nimble/HPE

    • The first draft of all SOWs will start with this role.
    • Writing skills are required.
  • Prepare and deliver solution related presentations to business consulting team as required.
  • Develop customer and partner relationships to ensure Conversant Group is recognized as a trusted advisor.
    • Work jointly and cooperatively with Business Consultants, Technical Relationship Managers, Account Managers, BC support, Order Management, Project Management, and Engineering.
  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborates with business consulting to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
  • Must be able to achieve product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential for product lines as required.

Project Coordinator

Working as a Project Coordinator at Conversant, you will be in charge of assisting our Project Managers in organizing our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Our Business Development Representatives will be responsible for generating, developing and managing initial business relationships through our marketing programs, inbound leads, and outbound prospecting calls. As a Business Development Representative, you will support the Business Consulting team by working to set meetings for the Business Consulting team, as well as closing deals to help grow Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). The role reports to the Director of Marketing. This role will expose the person to the inner workings of a sales and marketing environment and understanding the building blocks of a successful sales career.

Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective customers by using the Conversant Group CRM tool to reach marketing generated prospects or prospective customers via business directories and other list sources.

  • Ensure leads are validated with key information to help qualify sales meetings using tools such as Outreach.io, LinkedIn, internal databases, etc.
